The Good Guy's Die Too..

One of the Blogs I read on a daily basis is Kim DuToit's. For the last year, Kim has made it his personal mission to help support two Snipers from Ft Lewis WA that he met over at the Boomershoot last year. He personally raised about $5,000 to buy 2 new scopes for their rifles. He Raised another $3,000 to buy them TOP OF THE LINE WEB GEAR. These brave boys were deployed to Iraq last year. So, now he routinely sends them $300- $600 care packages. Their names are Walter and Adam.

As the wife and I sat and watched the news last night, the local station did a story on a local boy, an Army Sniper, named Adam, who was killed in a bombing in Mosul. I was frantic. I sat down and quickly tapped out a message to Kim. Here is what I wrote, typo's and all:

Folks, this boy gave his life for us. I don't even know where to begin. He didn't know me. But he gave his life to protect us, to protect OUR FREEDOM!

Below is a picture of Adam withthe new scope Kim bought him, freshly mounted on his rifle. I just hope he got to put it to good use.

OK, so my wife, and one of my best friends are both Springfield XD Elitist Snobs. I, on the other hand, am a HUGE fan of the trusty 1911 - A1. It is my choice for a duty weapon, carry weapon, and in general, my baby!

As the name implies, the 1911 was brought into the Army's arsenal in 1911. That's right boys and girls, almost 100 years! The design was created by the Great infallible Genius, John Moses Browning.

I am normally against publishing pictures containing nudity. I prefer the more subtle eroticism of garter belts, halter tops, and push up bras. However, there are occasionally, pics that are so tastefully done, the woman so beautiful, that I will overlook my rule.

Then there is Jayne.

Miss Jayne Mansfield. This is a woman who was sex, personified. She had it all. Looks, AND brains! (She sported an IQ of 163.) Back in the 1950's, there was no other blonde more widely recognized, with, perhaps, the exception of Marilyn Monroe. Is it any wonder why Miss Mansfield took the #2 spot in Playboys Top 50 Pictures of all time? I would argue this, but Marilyn was #1. Anybody wonder why the two top spots went to pictures that are 50 years old? It's cause the women look like WOMEN! They have real curves! Yummy!

How to divert a bodyguards attention..

Wife found this. This is the President of Venezuela. The gentleman directly behind him is his presidential body guard, their version of the Secret Service. I think somebody needs to talk with the Body Guard, his attention is somewhat focused ON HER TIT!

Not only do I have the afore mentioned headcold. It has now progressed to Bronchitis. Then I go to the Dr. yesterday.....

I have pink eye as well.

Getting old sucks.
